Fold formed copper cuff bracelet. This cuff features the Sherman fold and has many interesting twists and turns.
This handmade cuff started out as a piece of copper sheet. It was folded and annealed over and over again until the copper had all the intricate design that you see here. The copper sheet was then riveted to a piece of 20 gage copper and formed into the cuff. Then the cuff was oxidized with liver of sulphur to give it that rich black color. Lastly the cuff has several layers of a clear coating to protect your skin from the copper and to give it a rich shine.
The cuff is 2.0 inches wide and 6 inches long. This size will fit most women. There is a small amount of adjustment available by gently squeezing the cuff to fit. However do not continue to squeeze the cuff after you have it fitted. Continued squeezing will make the metal brittle and eventually break.
